Hi, I'm Mel. This business started with a whole lot of heart & a fair bit of chaos (the fun kind).

Deep Cuts and Layers is built around my two biggest inspirations, Reece and Ella, and fuelled by a lifelong love of creating. Whether it’s a heartfelt gift, something geeky and fun, or a custom job no one else wants to touch, I’m all in.

My workspace is a mix of cuddles and cables, multiple machines for printing, in multicolour 3d, stickers, clothing transfers, canvas and more! As well as 4 different types of lasers for cutting and engraving on all sorts of materials.

I’m always experimenting, testing, and tweaking to bring ideas to life — no matter how weird or wonderful.
